We’ve got these everywhere, they have a good spread on roads Cool

yes they can be good, but here i think they have made an error fitting single chevron versions at 10m. the single chevron version here is 7000lumens. they are not so bad at 8m

Highways England have installed a load of these on the A3 near me, mostly replacing Axia's. I have to say, the light colour temperature is much better and the spread is really quite impressive - uniform and bright. Still, a pity they ever replaced the SON that used to light the road there, that was also MUCH better than the Axia's that replaced it.

the axia is an led lantern? yes i have seen this here aswell. they are and have been replacing leds for leds. telford st holophane factors changed for dw windsors. the dw windsors are slightly brighter. the remaining son here and cosmo is generally much brighter than the led replacements. i rest my case

another road, millburn road has a combination of holophane factors and urbis oynx 150w son-t. the factors are around 100w and much duller than the 150w son urbis all are 10m. the factors replaced ma50s a few years ago. i doubt the factors are brighter than the ma50s furthermore they were running 91w sox-e lamps not 135w sox

If you think these put a good spread down, you should see the S-Line, their better than the V-Max, just not as stylish.
Interesting you mention the DW Windsor John, their the LAST thing I’d replace a Factor for!! Shocked the hand full of Windsor’s we have here, have either packed up or changed colour!!, whilst the Factor Large that were the first large scale installation here are all still running well after what must be 7 years now!
