These are decorative, their like something Thorn use to make in the early 90s.

I have a bit of a soft spot for globes tbh. Especially when they have big refractors and louvres over the the lamps.

It's a great look. Look down on a town with them from a hill and the landscapes just dotted with these grand orange spheres.
