Red Lampi 2x4' 40w
A Lampi 2xF40 fitting in Red (these also came in Brown & White). The camera didn't quite capture the color right, its a nice pure red, not dulled out...

Back when Lampi existed, I would see these in the mini-catalog lampi put in the box of all fittings...and I always wanted one - in particular the red version! (the larger sizes like this were far too expensive, and stores never sold the red version anyway).

Now I finally got one :)

Came with a pair of Philips F40T12/WW lamps, Has a 2x magnetic rapid-start ballast (no idea what brand since I haven't taken it apart ...yet). I'm kinda planning to upgrade this to electronic rapid-start or programmed-start. Then put red lamps in it.

Looks to be a very neat fitting.

It is a smart looking fitting, with styling of todays LED battens!

Thanks guys..
@Funkybulb: I have both the White & Brown 1xF20 versions. Might even still have the original T9 lamps (or maybe they were T10)

@AngryHorse: Yep it is Smile Lampi had quite a few nice fittings/unique designs, that still look very modern even though they were made in the late 80's/early 90's
Sadly the company is long gone.
