Age and the heat made it brittle maybe. Get some gorilla glue on it and she’ll be right I reckon.

I have superglued it for now and it seems to be holding up to be honest.

There was one of these lamp holders on eBay recently, item number 163802835536. I think it's the same anyway.

It was different anyway. This is an all grey lampholder. The eBay one has different cable entry I have a pair same as eBay one but problem is the wiring in the fitting isn’t long enough to work with the white insert holders same as the ebay one. I could rewire fitting but I want to keep it as original as I can so I’ve just glued this for now and when I get chance I’ll see if any other scrap fittings in there have same holders.
