What is this? -4ft 40w Warm White

Anyone know what this might be? I cannot see any signs of markings on it whatsoever. It looks like it had a metal stripe stuck on it that's been removed.

It works but is very worn with black splodges and banding etc. Still nice and bright though, and it's a lovely colour. Looks like it's deluxe warm white or even triphosphor 830?

Looks like something from the US!

very interesting find! I would say its a US GE lamp, however with that exact end cap construction (Single punch and soldered pins) it would have an inside etch, however Canadian GEs did use an outside etch, and some smaller US makers used GE end caps too its also interesting to hear that there was a metal stripe, US lamps never had that in linear form AFAIK, can you measure the resistance from cap shell to one of the pins? a proper Metal striped tube will have a high value resistor connecting one of the Pins to the cap shell for ease of starting reasons

Is it the pic or is it fatter than T12

It's T12. Will measure the cap to pins to see if there's a resistor next chance I get

interesting, Soldered pins like that would say it from smaller fluorescent company. It could be WWX
basically colour 34. that been made in US up to july 2012 Lamp ban, wiping out 1/2 of our lamp choices.

WWX US is the same as WWX in the UK, Colour 34 is something else Smile

when I look up James fluorescent cross referance it lead to colour 34, only thing I can think of being soldered pins
i have some Long life garantee with GE end caps but pins are soldered like this
