The worst LED installation I've seen

Three lane highway, as you can see these columns are very low, maybe only 5 metres or so and the heads are angled. Previously there were SON fittings here (possibly 100w or 150w, not sure) that were deep, flat bowl fittings with optics that projected a narrow beam right across all lanes without any glare. As you can see, during the dreaded LED “upgrade” the contractors have just stuck whatever LED fittings on.

Honestly I dread driving down here at night, the glare is absolutely ridiculous, these things shine directly into your eyeballs at this height & angle!
