This is not the first time GEC have used old cap stock on newer lamps. This tube is definitely made in 1979. The same thing occurred in May 1980 when 1970 nickel caps were incorporated into 13W T5 lamps. I think the vicar has one of them.

happy days indeed, the question is, will the caps become loose (which hardly ever happens on a liteguard) Rolling Eyes
