Generic Chinese T5 Tube (not) of Disappointment!
We use loads of these at work as well as German Osrams and, after observing both for some time, I have to say these are excellent.

Most of them came supplied with some rather horrible T8 to T5 adaptors which cold start the tubes & makes me wonder if these have toughened cathodes as they very rarely break, usually just run forever and ever until they go Mercury starved like this one.

They also seem to maintain their colour better than the Osrams which shift from 4000k to more like 3500k over their lifetime.

Anyone else have any experience or information about these?

Note none of this is scientific testing, just observations over a period of about 6 years or so

Whats the 15-35w about are these dimmable or something? If you take it home and put a blowtorch gently over it (try not to melt the glass) it might revive it

We have some 54watts in 840 on the valuation bay at work, they run 24/7, all are Osram, and none have failed or gone pink yet.
