Crompton C222 65w SS Ballast (May & Christe/Optima)
Here you see a Crompton C222 5ft 65w switch start ballast.

Nice & rusty, it has been out of use for many years but of course works fine.

I also have May & Christe ballasts branded as the following: Optima, Osram, GEC, Philips and Magnatek. Is there any others, or have I got the full set now?

You're missing a Thorn one - I've got a Thorn badged May & Christie / Optima SRS ballast here! Only one I've ever seen mind!

Ah yes I remember that one that you repainted. I forgot to say I have a couple of these branded simply as 'May & Christe' too.

I've yet to re-paint the Thorn EMI / May & Christie ballast. So far only done the genuine Thorn ones (both resin-filled and later 70's / 80's more open design). It'll be done soon tho I hope!
