Unknown Derelict 8' Twin
Had forgotten about this file until I just stumbled across it by accident. This is taken through the sunroof of my car while up on the ramp during the MOT last year. A couple of halide floods at either end provide the lighting in the MOT bay nowadays, but there's this old 8' twin up directly above the 4 post lift. Apparently it's been a couple of decades since it last worked.

Quite distinctive end caps, so sure someone will be able to identify this in a second or two.

Yes, I've asked them to let me know if it ever gets removed during renovations, before you ask!

I have a catalog from the 1950s with either the same or very similar fitting. It is uploaded here though I can't link it.

looking at the original rusty photo, the spine has straight sides , the ekco essex although very simelar with the same lamp holders has an angled edge spine which was a feature that ran into te late 60's with the Durham 2 range, still think the old photos the atlas atlantic version

Literally found a load of these today, the first time I've ever seen one was in this picture also today!! They're Atlas, as said above. Sadly the ones I've found are far too high to reach without a cherry picker.
