It looks cool as well as ominous in a way. What you used for the ballast ?

It does look a bit spooky! It uses the "guts" of the LED candle (originally a 40w equivalent 2700k one) that it sits in.

These would indeed be cool for haunted house attractions and the likes, one of the spooky rides at our local theme park, TH13TEEN uses long strings of festoon clear GLS lamps inside the ride station, but their wired into some form of computerised flicker unit that runs them as if their on a really poor power supply, the effect is so cool! Cool
