Vintage Ensign GLS lamp for military use

This lamp might date from the second world war period. It says "Property of HM Government" on the etch which means it was most likely used in a Government building, and has "AM" on the side of the lamp (which I think is Air Ministry) and another wattage rating in CP (candle power)!
