Very old fluorescent wall lanterns converted to PL lamps
These were converted during Cambridgeshire's street lighting upgrade years back. They used to run 2ft T12 tubes I think and now run PL lamps in 58w. The housings themselves are probably from the 50s! These have been known about for years by enthusiasts but who made these fittings has never been established.

I wonder if that is original plastic? Normally plastic covers like this go completely yellow after 30 years.

I wonder if these are a Revo offering? Back years ago, the Science Museum in London had an exhibit on streetlighting (long gone now). The display had a wall mounted lantern rather like this and I distinctly remember it having 'Revo' in the casting. Directly below it, was a picture of my local high street - Godalming had the world's first public electricity supply, which included electric street lighting, hence the picture.

Could well be, Cambridge ordered many lanterns indeed from Revo in the past.
