I’ve seen T4s, but never a 2!!, what applications would these have?

I think these never caught on very much as they were pricy, they were used in display lighting and for concealed lighting effects apparently.

Reminds me of CCFL lamps from TVs. I have seen these somewhere but I can't remember where.
