Spot the classic!
This photo was taken through an open door at a building right next to my college used for venues (I snapped this photo from outside). I did a double take seeing this, I was not expecting in this day and age to see a whole room (a electrical/boiler room though) being lit with a (presumably 200w) GLS lamp!!! At most I was expecting an old fluorescent. This lamp has obviously been there a pretty long time, judging by the dust and the fact it has a brass base. In fact, it actually looks older than the pendant it's in. It was probably made by Thorn, Philips or GEC like most older GLS lamps... As a side note, the room had some other old electrical equipment (meters, etc...)
