GEC Z9530 35w SOX street lantern Many thanks indeed to a fellow local collector for this wonderful (and very nostalgic!) lantern. The GEC Z9530 was the gearless version, and the Z9532 was geared. I have fitted a blue Royce Thompson photocell to reflect how hundreds of these were installed across Cambridge when I was younger!

These were super rare in our town, I only remember two of them at best!, but they were a nice slim down version from Thorns Beta?
