Osram neon indicator lamp with E14 base
Here's quite an unusual variant of the more common B22 0.5w neon indicator lamp sold by Osram-GEC in large numbers. Such variants featuring E14 and possibly even E27 bases were not unheard of but were generally produced in much lower numbers owing to them not having an internal resistor (such as this example). Another interesting thing about this lamp is both the sticker and stamps it has on its packaging - it appears to have been property of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) when new!
