Amazing mercury installation inside Peckham Rye Station, London
I was visiting a friend in Peckham recently when I chanced upon this incredible sight whilst leaving my train - to see such a huge mercury installation indoors and so well-maintained with not a single lamp out nowadays is a very rare sight! From the looks of the fittings, they probably had globes originally but they either broke or became full of insects probably, as is usually the case.

Now that is impressive! Wonderful to see in 2024. Cool

Definitely not something you see often these days. To be fair, don't really see many mercs out in the wild anywhere now and when you do, usually really greened out!
