Sunshine brand 15w pearl radio valve-shaped lamp
After much hunting I have finally managed to track down a pearl variant of one of these unusual lamps - these lamps were apparently sold in Woolworths stores ("Sunshine" was one of their store brands) after the second world war, due to a supposed unused excess of surplus radio valve envelopes from the production of military radio sets. I have a clear example of these somewhere, as well as red and green examples.
