The idiots at A.D.N.M replacing translucent plastic ceiling with an aluminum ceiling at the offices of Galim hostel array!

Which lighting is more green to the environment? Sun or LED?

Update: The tutor said me that the new ceiling is a sealed ceiling of two sheets of aluminum with styrofoam layer in between, while plastic ceiling isn't sealed and requires replacement every year. So water from rainfalls won't penetrate it, but it would leak into plastic ceiling. So the increased energy usage here by LED lighting because of the non-transparency to sunlight is inevitable :( .
