When it comes to the various 'white' F40's, this was one of my favorites, just because they were brighter, and had a nice clean white color. Even though this is good vintage stuff (which should be kept) I was tempted to put one of them in use...maybe

I think 5000k is criminally underused tbh. Cooler than 4000k but not as hardcore as 6500k, a good ballance.

Yep true! Depending on the lamp ofcourse..
I've seen some 5000k's that have a dull-almost purple-ish tint to them (not a good look Laughing )
Then there's the modern high-CRI ones, allot of which are pretty dim.
There's these which were pretty much perfect (sucks that they're banned now), and there's some other 5000k, that provide nice crisp/clean/bright like these.
