Yeh that's a lush comparison they go really well together!!! The uv looks violet against that lol.
The photo reproduces it perfectly, true to life.
You've got a good quality camera then!

I'm well miffed. Just tried the UV again and it won't start any more, not even on switchstart. Tried the oven treatment (only ~50 deg C) and that made no difference. It just about flashes, that's all. It must have leaked since last testing, when it was perfectly fine.

You got any HF fittings in 2'? If so try it on that
That a really old Fitzy 2' twin?
Sorry Danny, I don't have a 2' HF. Slyspark, it's a very early Fitzgerald, 40yo, new and unused.
Lol I don't blame you for not having a 2' HF fitting

Lovely, I guess then it has Thorn lampholders? Seem to recall those have a metal end and independent lampholders, a bit like the early Thorn weatherpacks and Atlantics?
Sounds about right. Lamp-holders are individual Smart & Brown, metal clip mounting.
Yup, thought they might be! Quality at it's best!
never seen this blue one before, what market and use was this inteneded for?

lampy, with the age of this lamp, diazo printing machines may have been the intended use, but they also work well for attracting UV-sensitive insects.
