It would of been the ignitor if anything these are work horses 👊🏿✊🏿 are you sure these are 1980s James look older to me

Lot of the AEG's in the city centre are late 70's, Danny seem to say there 1980's

ive got an earlier version of this somewhere for a 400 watt son, but its a SON-I , no ignitor needed. same blue print on the ballast.

possible these are early 80's, as its looks the same canister as the 135/180 sox unit. they would have made these in the 70's as well

I want to keep one of these for an AEG I got my eye on as all the rest in the city centre were converted to 100w cdo in 2012 with Selc 6000 gear. There were loads of this type of ballast in the AEG's before they were converted
