A huge beast of a lantern! These were an impressive sight when they lit the motorways!

I absolutely love this thing. I find it quite funny that without a cable, it can stand freely on its shoe without falling over!

Mine won’t stand freely on its shoe I got to lean it against the wall with quite a tilt on it as the ballast pulls it over!

Upright in the corner is probably the easiest and safest way to store one of these!

@Danny that's interesting, has yours been hammered off the bracket and what ballast does it have?

No it’s not been hammered off. When I got it it was cut off the bracket as there was a long stump in it I removed it has a L4135 but a replacement one as the original was soaking. Missing the cap tho… can put pics on in the next few days if you want to see it?

This is gorgeous! Ive never been a huge MA fan, but these beefy ones with gear shoes are an exception!
