Thats a rare one, the remote gear/GLS version Makes it look more like the older post tops with the thin base casting.

I got this from someone at work who had it in their garden, not a collector. I believe they custom built it with the 1970s remote base casting and 1990s thin canopy. So its history is unknown

Yeah I was going to say for one the age of having a thin base it would probably have had a deep canopy. A nice find though I wonder if it originally had the clear bowl or if an opal one was originally fitted?

The bowl has certainly kept well with it using GLS

It only ran a 40w in the guys garden, not a whole lot with the large enclosure
