General Electric GE 1000W High pressure sodium Lucalox lamps

recently while looking on ebay for an American Spec 1000W S52 sodium lamp to add to my collection

I came across the lamp on the left which is a European spec GE 1000W Sodium lamp, which I just had to add to my collection

as not only does it match with the rare elliptical diffused lamp I already had in my collection on the right (which is rare in its own right as 1000W SON-Es from any manufacturer are not common at all!)

but also because I noticed that European GE 1000W Sodium lamps tended to be a bit more scarce then ones from other manufacturers so I grabbed it for the collection for those reasons as well :) (I have to wonder if that was because they where a bit more expensive? they certainly look a lot more robust/have a lot more bits to them then other 1000W Sodium lamps I have seen)
