Philips Master QL 85w induction lamps
This morning when I visited my local lamp bin I noticed lots of these had been dumped there. Sadly they all looked like they had been outside for very long and were filthy... After spending ages trying to clean them this is the best I could get them to look. I'm glad to have found some of these as they are relatively rare, they are also a technology that features very little in my collection, the only other induction lamp I have is a 23w self-ballasted GE "Genura" lamp. These lamps have a very curious base.

I have one of those including driver but I've never worked out how to separate the discharge vessel from the transmitter base. I'm scared of breaking it.
