Yes I have a 12v version too. It needed a new transistor however. Seems happy with a 2n3055.

Used to have some of these in 13w where I had my first job at a boatyard. Now long demolished

Those quick connectors are awesome. Mines had a miserable life. At one stage it had a cap screw for a fuse and at least twice its rated current being pulled through it
