Sylvania BriteSpot ESD111 70w Quartz Metal-Halide
2 x quartz metal halide R111 lamps in 70w 3000k flavour. Very bright with very good colour and CRI.

I have always been a fan of these R-111 lamps as the dual reflector system means that at no point can the arc tube be directly viewed and 100% of the light emitted by it exits the lamp after being controlled by a reflector.
This allows for very precise beam control with narrow angles with a very sharp cutoff and very low glare.
In fact there is pretty much zero glare unless you look directly into the beam!

As these are a sealed lamp design, these does not suffer from the problem experienced by the open pressed aluminium reflector used on Philips Ceramic CDM-R111's where heat from the lamp causes dust to rise and stick to the reflector which eventually becomes baked on and lowers efficiency.

That’s some polished reflector! Shocked , I can imagine what you would get looking directly into it square on!

Indeed they are awesome reflectors, much more interesting to look at than the Philips CDM-R111!
I'd choose these in a shop anyday just for the look.
