Cool the old lined opal diffuser still have a few of these in one of the schools! They are on white sided ATLAS PPs!

yes, now i've looked at this close up, this diffuser is off an early 70's grey sided atlas, the Thorn ones had the same profile reeds all the way accross, this is an old one

I noticed the lines on the diffuser straight away, the 8ft 100w fittings that were installed in my primary school to replace tungsten lighting weeks after I started school in 1978 had those diffusers.
