Transtar electronic start magnetic ballast
quite a big ballast, it does not start like the vivatronics (where you hear it spring to life) more like a pulse starter.. quick spot of glow at the cathodes, then we are lit. not sure how these cope at EOL, currently fitted in a wickes batten.
It starts T12 tubes fine

it, with a GE hungary Kolorite comes on at 2am every morning to wake me for work, stays on for a few hours after I am long into work too! I found these Hungary GE's are decent enough tubes, but even though they are not shielded, they don't really band up so well
