The Rolls Royce/Bentley of the SOX days, such a shame Duke Mill hadn’t been the last SOX factory to exist instead of Hamilton Confused

It is a beautifully designed SOX lamp, I like it a lot more than the modern designed ones but any SOX lamp I'll gladly take Smile

Yes, it's a real shame these were not made for a lot longer. Much better than the inferior Philips offerings, particularly towards the end

@Slyspark: I agree. I will get to making a lit up pic for everyone to see but I will make sure to test my SOX 18W ballast with a not important T8 tube or use a Chinese made SOX 18W lamp if I can get one - I'd hate to wreck this lamp due to a faulty ballast

There was a 35W Supersox version of this on eBay. Messaged the seller alongside with my offer to see if i could pick it up as he was based in Reading. Had no response after 2 messages and 2 offers, then I find out the listing was removed (wassn't sold)
