Globes at Dusk...
The new Kingfisher Sloan globe lantern on my back patio at dusk.
Waiting to fire up once again for another nights service.

Installed some of these in the car park of an office block years ago. All still there to this day, but not a single one is lit any more. They all gradually went out, then the DNO cut the power supply to the feeder pillar due to non payment if the bill. The managing agents for the site don't give a fuck.

A sad state of things becoming more common these days! I've lost count of the lighting installs that I have seen which are unlit because they don't want to pay for a relamp or the power for it!

It's annoying as they're directly opposite my house and I look at them daily. Even more annoying that I'd already acquired the lamps to relamp them just before the managing agents changed and the job got cancelled. Given there's now no supply to these, I doubt very much they'll ever work again

If they do ever get power again, they will be swapped out for LED. Speaking of which, the Sloan 2.0 LED is actually quite good!
