Osram 400w MA/V Medium-pressure Mercury Vapour 1 x 400w Osram medium pressure mercury vapour lamp. I'm really pleased to add one of these in 400w flavour to my collection, I had all but given up hope of ever getting one. I had it in my eBay watch list but had no intention of getting it as these always go for quite frankly silly money, but then the seller made me an offer that I couldn't refuse! :) It's also nice to have one with the packaging in such good condition. The etch on the crown of the lamp has worn off but it is visible when backlit with a bright LED torch, along with a lot of dust lol. It needs a careful clean. The brass cap has 230-240v 400w stamped on it along with an arrow symbol and the letters H.M.G. There are loads of tiny mercury droplets all over the inside of the burner.

Very nice indeed, another one on my wants list too lol. The packet is pristine for its age, that's a big part of it too tbh.

I think I have one of these in 250 and 400W flavour but it’s been a while since I have seen them!

I was looking for a picture to upload of this lit but it looks like I never took any! I think I only ran it up once and filmed it instead. Might have to fish it out and get some photos.
