The dichroic colours look even more intense with a discharge lamp!

Nothing will replicate the sparkle that you get from dichroic MR lamps!

very cool to see you have one off these! I have been looking/wanting one myself for a while now, but they are not very common, these where originally for mining use, hence the Dichroic reflector, to remove the Infrared from the main beam, as not to cook the poor mine workers, who are already working in pretty arduous conditions!
