It is good that my orange lamp don't have this defect of the uneven heat reflective coatings. My current green 70W MH lamp, looks whitish green when my eyes adoped to the light, and saturated green when not. My 20000K 70W MH lamp have very high blue saturation, and so my Venture MH-DE 70W/UVS/PDX pink MH lamp.

Very pretty colours!

Halide colours are pretty, but usually not very deep when you compare them to modern LED coloured light sources. One area where LED does win, if you purely want a nice deep colour.

To be honest, if I wanted coloured floodlighting, I'd use a normal lamp together with a gel filter on the fitting. Would be more saturated but not necessarily brighter. LED coloured floods are both extremely saturated and bright! They win out in that regard!
