Atlas (American Sylvania made) F40T12 tube While british lamp manufacturers listed blacklight blue lamps in their cataloge no examples that are actually made in the UK are known. This leads me to beelive, that these lamps were sourced by other manufacturers. I was pleased when i found this particular example of an atlas branded lamp. What intreaged me was that it was a T12 tube which i don’t have yett. Also very interesting is, that it was made in the USA. I suspect by Sylvania as both companies worked together and shared knowledge. This brings me one step further in getting all thorn/atlascoulours in 4 foot tubes.

Very nice indeed. That must be incredibly rare now, guessing this would be a 1960's lamp?

That’s a very nice find, I don’t recall seeing an Atlas branded BLB before! As you say, it’s likely this is a Sylvania made tube. Where did you get it?

very nice find! I have only ever seen a singular 2ft example of one of these before now Smile it should be noted that small T5, at least 4W T5 Woods glass tubes where made by Mazda in the UK (for the Vulcan bomber), but I dont think anything T8 or T12 size ever was Smile
