Remember the end cap issue with these Razz, fortunately Tamlite gave you more plastic to attach the spring to, when the original one snapped off! Confused

If that metal bridge was a spring from new these would be much better battens.

I've replaced that metal bridge for a spring in some of these before now, definitely helps as the slightest knock to the end doesn't hurt them.

Thank you all Smile yes I will be extra careful not to get the endcaps knocked off Very Happy what is more interesting is that this one has a Helvar magenetic ballast, they must be better than the Tridonic ones in terms of heat management and EOL tube strain
