OSRAM HWA 302 165W
An OSRAM HWA 165W self-ballasted blended-light lamp for a supply voltage of 230V to 235V, in its original packaging.
The outer bulb has been frosted on the inside. At the time, this was done using hydrofluoric acid. This lamp was manufactured in December 1954 (date code: pGZ) at the OSRAM factory in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The data sheet is from April 1951:

Amazing find of a pre 1960s made mercury lamp especially a self ballasted one - I bet that will look gorgeous when lit up. Would you want to light it up or just keep it in the collection?

Thanks for the comments. The photo was taken with an iPhone. This camera isn’t ideal for this sort of photo. I made some adjustments afterwards in Photoshop to ensure the colours are as close to reality as possible.



In the original (what I see with my own eyes), the light has a slight tendency to be a little whiter. The lamp was powered by a variac on 230V for the photo.
