Lone GEC Z8691 lantern

Pictured on a boarded-up block of council flats in York, which is allegedly due to be demolished soon. This old survivor was looking quite resplendent in the evening light, although it probably isn't much longer for this world... I have been informed that this lantern in fact runs SON, not mercury, as you would expect.
