Love these. Apart from PLL these will more than likely be the only fluorescent street lights we will get our hands on!

I've always thought this would be better with a prismatic bowl but apparently the Australians wanted a basic, rugged and cheap to make fitting.

Still waiting for mine to be sent from Australia When it does finally arrive I'll be sticking an old 80w fluorescent ballast in it and running a pair of 2' 40w T12's in it in series, probably with series electronic starters. Having plain sides, one thing you could do with it is to stick refractors from another lantern to both sides of the bowl, look more like a Beta 6 then!

WOO HOO!!! Mine finally turned up today, only taken a year to get hold of it..... I'll post some pix later once I've converted it!
