do you know when the T12 15 watt tube was made obsolete for the T8 tube? i'm guessing 1980 a the latest

The Osram-GEC 1986 catalogue still lists them, but under `transport tubes`, in WW striped.

Seems early 80s then osram GEC may of kept them going until 1989 just like they did with BC tubes

i recall when a kid in 80's, say 1987 i tried to buy some from a wholsalers, they didnt know what i was talking about, said 15 watt tubes are T8 only
