30/40w???? What the hell???dual wattage 3foot???
No idea, found them in the loft of an old car repair garage, even in the outer box, no lable on it though, no idea what these are about
Must be similar to the 8ft duals? I got a 3ft 40w but never seen it as a dual wattage?
never heard of a 3 foot 40 watt either, there were some oddball items made at one time
no Na me either. Must of had some sort of braided or strengthened cathodes
No date codes?
not sure, think there was some sort of number on one side, does that mean anything to you then to date them?
Yes there should be a number for example "36E" that is the date code.
Yes there is usually a number and a letter such as E, V or H on the tube
I have one of these too but mine is banded heavily at both ends
Endura made tube good find
were endura tubes a good brand like atlas then?
Yes brill tubes
Weren't all tubes back in the 70s good?
yes, they were actually, no junk i can think to name from that period
Yes these always look good when they have been used ends blacken up a treat and they just go for ever!
Some thorns and atlas made them seem to be shite now with ends falling off and cathodes becoming detached and going stale / contaminated.
