Thorn 8' 85w Warm White Tube

I don't have any 85w gear but I tried this in a 100w pop-pack and it struck up but went out shortly after (cathodes still in tact!). Might be ok on proper 85w gear.

Yes I do... I did try it in a 125w GEC Europa but I got scared and switched-off when I saw ~145w power consumption! Confused

My first ringer on a tube that worked yes... An old 'Thorn' in my scrap tube pile ringed off a while ago lol

Oh, that's a shame! I've lost a few that way recently, all tubes from the same case. Only time I've ever seen it happen too!
