I wonder how long it actually takes to draw details like that in games now? I wonder if it's actually not that long, as the software used to write the software will also be far more advanced!

Yeah thats the cleaver part, the software that actually enables you to do thing like this!, theres a company called `Speedtree`, they make software for game developers JUST for trees of all kinds!, nearly all trees in games now, come from Speedtree!

Cant say much for the sequel for the first one was a terrible game IMO

I did see one game (can't remeber which) but there were some very good EOL Switch Start tubes in it

Alan Wake was a game OF light!, an interesting idea from its creator Sam Lake, your enemies, (the taken), were still human, but possessed in the form a `moving shadow`, you had to pour light on this shadow to get rid of it first, (with a torch, streetlight, flare, flashbang grenade, headlight), or any other form of light before you could kill the person! when possessed by the shadow the taken would try to kill you on sight!
