Home brew U Tube fitting
I hadn't planned to build any more home brew fittings this year, but I have a few U tubes now and nothing to run them in. This fitting is quite a simple construction, formed by bending two sheets of aluminum. Just need to do something with the ends of the gear cover now.

Simple construction but I like it a lot! Can you think of anywhere to install this? Shocked

I don't really know of a place to install it, it would be ideal for over a work bench as it gives a good, strong down light.

Nice reflecting coating on it.

The silver is the bare aluminum, it's supplied as a sheet with a blue protective coating. Aluminum is of coarse quite soft which is why I can bend it by hand without using some kind of machine that would be so expensive as to make this kind of thing impossible. It does however mean it scratches easily. Neutral
