Very nice. It is a shame that such decorative and cerative lamp designs are a thing of the past today, replaced with the same generic items everywhere.

Well almost said yes but i have to disagree. With the advent of filament LED's many new funky shaped bulbs with interesting now LED based filaments came on the marked. While them beeing LED may dismay some, it still is the very same concept just adapted to the new technology.

True yes there are a fair few LED filament lamps, I suppose they just don't seem the same as old things like this. It would be nice to see more of this sort of thing though, perhaps some of the old shapes and colours like this resurrected with LED filaments inside.

What we are experiencing with the decorative lamps/bulbs scene of today that yes there are some still being produced but the style and the build quality/aesthetic is something that doesn't quite match the old incandescent (and CFL even) decorative lamps/bulbs. Again that comes down to personal preference. Now about this lamp this is absolutely gorgeous shape and bonus that it has a cleartop like you see on BT shaped mercury lamps
