That's good the storage room got some spare ballasts to keep the existing T5 fixtures going

I wonder how these compare to HF-Performers? Looks like two of the tubes don't get cathode heating at one end when wired for triple lamp Confused

Looks like a hack on an otherwise average 2x28 ballast (which might as well work with any of them that runs the tubes in series ?)

I think this might have been added in the etch with the thought of allowing using it for repairs in 3x14 mods that are nearing their end of life anyway (in the thinking of the company that wants to see them gone in the long term), not planned in the original design of the circuit
