Crompton Manor pearl/acid etch bent tip candle bulb I managed to get 5x of these back at the car boot sale 2 years ago AFAIK the first proper LED I got hold of in my life was a Crompton Manor range LED GLS which was pearl acid etched and looked almost like an incandescent except that the colour temperature was of a ghostly 3000K tone - it is the same case with these bent tip candle ones. So recently I stuck 3 of them in the master bedroom chandelier but then my mum noticed the ghostly tone so then I had to take them out

The lamp looks nice and the name suits well... But your mom noticing it is pretty much a blind test confirming what the light quality is

It is such a shame and they were only available in that ghostly 3000K (when back in 2016 I bought the GLS version, I decided to give it to my late uncle and to this day it still works) it is no surprise that Crompton decided to discontinue it in favour of their LED filament ones which are better with the 2700K colour temperature and the use of fumed silica coating
