Maxlume Verity.
Bought earlier in the year, this Maxlume Verity was a very nice and unusually cheap find on eBay. All that was up with it was the glass was loose and it had surface rust all over. I asked the seller to remove the glass from the base, pack both in separate boxes, and then pack those in a larger outer box. What they done instead was wrapped the whole bulkhead in 3 layers of bubble wrap, taped shut in a plastic bag, and then it was put in a box full of air bags. When it turned up only 3 of those air bags actually had any air in them at all, but through some miracle, the bulkhead remained intact.

Incredibly some original paint remined inside the bulkhead, allowing me to identify the original colour as being hammered grey. Stripped down and rust treated, I was able to return the bulkhead back to its original colour. Sealing the glass in place, I attached some flex and the bulkhead sprang into life once again. Its an absolutely stunning 30's art deco style, and will be installed in place of one of my more shitty bulkheads in my workshed.

Excellent restoration as always! This is another one of those old GLS bulkheads that could last as good as forever with a little care.
